Description

Discover the art behind bringing characters to life through stage makeup! In this hands-on specialty class for ages 10–11, students will learn the basics of theatrical makeup & explore how makeup artists use color, shape, & technique to transform performers for the stage. Students will practice age-appropriate techniques while experimenting with character makeup, aging, special effects, & other creative looks throughout the session. This is a non-performance class and will not perform at Showcase, allowing students to focus on learning, creating, & exploring an exciting behind-the-scenes area of theatre!
